The Bay berkisah mengenai wabah mematikan yang ada di pesisir kota Chesapeake Bay. Virus ini sebenarnya telah diketahui oleh ilmuwan dan sudah memberitahukan ke walikota, namun walikota tersebut menolak menyebarluaskan dengan alasan agar warga tidak panik.

Alhasil, virus tersebut mulai menyebar dan menyebabkan warga terinfeksi satu per satu yang kemudian berubah menjadi mutan dan mengacaukan seluruh kota.
